SW Builder is a service website platform for trades businesses, operated by SimpleSaaS, LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use SW Builder, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

By creating an account or using SW Builder, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and a hashed (never plain-text) password when you register.
• Business profile data — your business name, address, phone number, service area, service descriptions, and photos you upload to build your website.
• Billing information — subscription plan and billing status. All payment card data is handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store your card numbers, CVV, or full billing address.
• Usage data — pages you visit within the app, features you use, actions you take (e.g., publishing your site, editing content), and timestamps of those actions.
• Device and browser information — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs, collected automatically when you access SW Builder.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account and publish your business website.
• Process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship through Stripe.
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmation, password resets, and billing receipts.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries you submit to support@swbuilder.com.
• Analyze usage patterns in aggregate to improve the platform's features and performance.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights and safety of our users and our platform.

We do not sell your personal information or business data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

SW Builder is hosted on Cloudflare's global infrastructure using Cloudflare Workers and D1 (SQLite), which provides low-latency, redundant data storage across Cloudflare's network. Media files (business photos, logos) are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS). Data stored at rest in D1 and R2 is encrypted by Cloudflare. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes using industry-standard algorithms — we cannot recover your plain-text password.

Billing data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is certified PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. We receive only non-sensitive billing metadata (subscription status, last four digits of card, expiry month/year) to display in your account dashboard.

While we take reasonable security precautions, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately at support@swbuilder.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Third-Party Services

SW Builder integrates with the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy governing their data practices:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. stripe.com/privacy

We share only the minimum data necessary with each provider for them to perform their services on our behalf.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — update or correct inaccurate information through your account settings or by contacting support.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@swbuilder.com. See the Data Retention section for applicable timelines.
• Data portability — request an export of your business content (service descriptions, photos, contact info) by emailing support@swbuilder.com.
• Opt-out of non-essential communications — you may unsubscribe from product update emails at any time. Transactional emails (billing receipts, password resets) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@swbuilder.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and business content for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or request account deletion, we will retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for account recovery, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems.

Billing records, invoices, and transaction history are retained for 7 years from the date of the transaction to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations, even after account deletion.

Aggregate, anonymized usage data (with no personally identifiable information) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

8. Cookies

SW Builder uses cookies solely for session management — to keep you logged in as you navigate the app. These are strictly necessary cookies and are set only when you sign in.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services that profile your browsing behavior.

If you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to remain logged in to SW Builder.

9. Children's Privacy

SW Builder is a business tool intended for adults. Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately at support@swbuilder.com and we will delete that information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make material changes that affect your rights or how we handle your data, we will notify you via email at the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

The "Effective date" at the top of this page will always reflect when the policy was last updated. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
